As the first breakfast post on my blog, I propose: Oatmeal with fresh fruit (such as berries, banana, or chopped apple) and a drizzle of honey
  • Oatmeal: Oatmeal is a nutritious whole grain that contains soluble fibre called beta-glucan. This type of fibre has been shown to help lower LDL cholesterol, also known as "bad" cholesterol, by reducing its absorption in the bloodstream. Consuming oatmeal regularly can contribute to maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.
  • Fresh Fruit: Fresh fruits like berries, banana, and chopped apple provide natural sugars, vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre. While fruits contain natural sugars, they also contain fibre, which helps slow down the absorption of sugars into the bloodstream.
